Francis Meston, Middle East CEO
As the CEO of Atos in Middle East and Africa&Turkey, Francis is committed to improving the presence of the company in the region since his appointment to this post. Francis and his management team oversee the operations of the regional offices in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Gabon, South Africa, and Madagascar.
Based upon the fact that Atos operates as a global yet local IT company in the Middle East and Africa, Francis focuses on driving the digital journey of the region. One of his main objectives is to offer Atos clients higher quality and more reliable services, while enabling them to improve the performance of their own business operations. Also giving priority to improving team spirit and personal development, Francis always encourages Atos employees in the region to reveal the huge potential for digital transformation.
In the first years of his career, Francis led the French operations, the EMEA Telecommunications practice and the EMEA business reengineering practice of Capgemini Consulting as the Vice President. He then joined AT Kearney as Vice-President and acted in charge of EMEA business transformation and strategy practices as well as MIA Global practice.
He joined Atos in 2009 as Head of Consulting & Systems Integration from the E.D.S French subsidiary, where he had been the CEO since January 2002. In July 2015, he was appointed as Head of Middle East & Africa, and Group Digital Transformation Officer for Atos.
Francis is a graduate of Ecole Centrale Marseille and holds an MBA in Finance from Purdue (Indiana). He is also “maître de conferences” at HEC Business School.
