Atos receives UK Disability Confident Leader certificate
London, 25 June 2021 - Atos UK and Ireland has received the highest level of government recognition as a disability inclusive employer by being named as a Disability Confident Leader.
Previously recognised as a Disability Confident Employer, the endorsement is continuing acknowledgment of the company’s journey towards ensuring disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
Recent positive action taken by Atos includes the education of employees on disabilities including accessibility, updated induction materials, dedicated HR community training and development of a number of recruitment paths that are dedicated to supporting the employment of people with disabilities.
Atos is particularly grateful to the dedicated volunteers within its Disability Employee Network group Adapt who have helped on this journey to be a more inclusive employer for people with disabilities.
Clay Van Doren, Atos CEO UK & Ireland and CEO, Northern Europe “We are proud to be recognised as a Disability Confident Leader, as we strive to create a workplace culture which is inclusive and enables opportunity for all. There is more still that can be done and I am sure this recognition will act as further motivation.”
Atos has accessibility specialists working across the globe, who contribute to various disability inclusion initiatives, such as the International Labor Organization’s global business disability network, the Business Disability Forum's Technology Taskforce and the Valuable 500.
