Atos Switzerland strengthens cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden

Zurich, Switzerland – 14. April 2022 – Atos continues to expand its cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden. The aim of the cooperation is to promote the connection between companies and the university in a demand-oriented manner: Within the framework of the training programs of the Institute for Management and Continuing Education, the partners have decided on several measures to link studies and practice more closely and to bundle communication measures.

As part of the cooperation, Atos passes on its specialist expertise to the students: teaching, guest lecturesand lecturer activities contribute to this. In addition, excursions to the company are to take place.

«We are very pleased that we were able to get the measures for deepening the cooperation off the ground so quickly,» says Bruno Schenk, CEO of Atos Switzerland. «The students, the University of Applied Sciences and Atos all benefit equally from the intensified cooperation.»

The head of studies at the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden, Sandra Burdet, is pleased about the partnership: «By working with partners like Atos, we ensure the quality, practical relevance and content relevance of our courses.»

Atos is supporting the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden in revising the curriculum. The company will contribute know-how to make learning objectives and module descriptions more practice-oriented. Atos is working directly with the university’s advisory boards to optimize and ensure the quality of the courses. With discounted tuition fees for Atos employees and assistance in marketing continuing education programs through Atos› internal and external channels, the student recruitment process can be made even more efficient in the future. For these reasons, Sandra Burdet believes the partnership represents real added value.

Finally, Atos and the UAS Graubünden would like to combine and integrate their advertising and communication tools, which includes, for example, using each other’s logos on flyers and websites.

The deepened cooperation should lead to a transfer-oriented education for the students. The joint external communication and presentation should also facilitate the recruitment of new prospective students for the continuing education programs.
