Atos Switzerland appoints Bruno Schenk as new CEO

Zurich, 1st Jan 2021 – Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, appoints Bruno Schenk as the new CEO of Atos Switzerland. The appointment is in addition to his role as CEO of Unify Switzerland. Former CEO of Switzerland, Patrick Bajard, will become Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences for Central and Eastern Europe at Atos.

Bruno Schenk came from Zühlke group to join Atos in 2019. Here, he assumed the position of Head of Infrastructure and Data Management as well as Executive Board Member. Previously, he held key management roles at Ericsson and Alcatel-Lucent.

His career so far has taken him to over 20 countries, where he has been able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of sales and operations. In addition, he brings skills in change and transformation leadership, and has already participated in several global Atos industrialization initiatives.

Under Schenk, Atos Switzerland is all about «Accelerating Customers». Using the global portfolio, local customer needs such as digitalization, decarbonization and sustainability are easily taken to the next level. Even with the focus on trends of the hour such as cloudification, digital workplace and data-driven processes, he continues to place people at the center of the business. Atos appeals to the Swiss as an established yet continuously expanding company.

The Swiss national is a trained electrical and telecommunications engineer with a master’s degree in IT and business. He also holds an Executive Master in Business Analysis from the University of Bern and completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program in 2011. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family in nature and is passionate about cycling and supporting the Atos Cycling Tour.
