Atos präsentiert neuen BullSequana Hybrid-Supercomputer für KI-gestützte Simulation

Atos hat kürzlich BullSequana XH2000, den effizientesten Supercomputer aus eigener Produktion, vorgestellt. Dabei handelt es sich um einen hybriden Supercomputer, der Workloads zwischen lokalen, öffentlichen und privaten Cloud-Umgebungen orchestrieren kann. Der BullSequana XH2000 ist die Antwort auf die steigende Nachfrage nach hochperformanten Rechnern, durch ihn profitieren Unternehmen von optimaler Flexibilität, Effizienz und Leistung.

KI-gestützte HPC-Simulation

Der BullSequana XH2000 kann konvergierte Arbeitslasten gleichzeitig (HPC-Simulation, Künstliche Intelligenz, Deep Learning) auf ein und demselben Computer bewältigen. Dies versetzt Unternehmen in die Lage, die Grenzen herkömmlicher Simulationen zu überwinden und erschließt ihnen neue Anwendungsmöglichkeiten, was die Transformation und Innovation von Unternehmen gewaltig vorantreibt.

Mehr Leistung für KI-gestützte HPC-Simulationen

Der BullSequana XH2000 bietet ein System an, das die neuesten CPU- und GPU-Prozessor und Accelerator-Architekturen unterstützt, einschließlich Marvell ThunderX2® Arm®-, NVIDIA Volta V100-, Intel® Xeon®-Prozessoren und den neuesten AMD® EPYC Rome, für maximale Leistung, Geschwindigkeit und Präzision. Dies ist der erste Atos-Supercomputer, der auch AMD-Prozessoren unterstützt. Der BullSequana XH2000 ermöglicht eine Auswahl an System-Verbindungstechnologien, einschließlich InfiniBand HDR und BXI (Bull eXascale Interconnect) und Fast Ethernet.

Zukunftssichere Leistung

Der BullSequana XH2000 ist zukunftssicher und vollständig skalierbar. Seine Open Sequana-Architektur bietet uneingeschränkte Kompatibilität mit zukünftigen Computing-Blade- und Interconnect-Technologien, sodass Unternehmen das System problemlos aktualisieren können. Er ist Exascale-fähig und wird bis 2020 einen Exaflop (eine Arbeitsabläufe pro Sekunde) liefern.

Hochgradig energieeffizient

Der neue Supercomputer verbraucht 10 Mal weniger Energie als aktuelle Systeme. Er wird zu 100 Prozent wassergekühlt, mit der patentierten DLC-Lösung (Direct Liquid Cooling) von Atos, die den globalen Energieverbrauch durch die Verwendung von Warmwasser bis zu 40°C auf ein Minimum reduziert.
