Atos 2023 Million Makers raise over £175k for The Prince’s Trust

London, UK – 22 March 2024

Over the past seven months, Atos’ 2023 Million Makers team has been taking part in the annual Million Makers fundraising competition in aid of The Prince’s Trust.

Young people continue to face great difficulties accessing vital education, training and job opportunities. The Prince’s Trust is a charity that aims to support young people in building their confidence and skills as well as starting a career.

This year the team made sure that maximising the amount raised was at the forefront of every activity.

Examples include moving their Leading Ladies Luncheon online to maximise the amount raised, which included a thought-provoking debate on the impact of intersectionality in business.

They also released a digital cook-book featuring tasty recipes that was promoted alongside a virtual ‘cook-a-long’, generating sales.

Sam Jones, SVP Public Sector Health and Life Sciences, and Million Makers Executive Sponsor, said: “Through teamwork and creativity, the UK&I team has raised a phenomenal amount of money. They have shown real resilience and their participation in this fundraising effort will help to change young people’s lives.”

Charlotte Sidaway, Team Chair, said: “Although we faced some challenges along the way, it was by working together and determination that we were able to fundraise such a remarkable amount of money. I’ve really valued my time participating, have learnt new skills, and would encourage others to join future programmes.”
