Atos wins contract with HMRC to enhance its capabilities with critical testing services
London, 8 March 2022 – Atos UK and Ireland today announces that it has extended its relationship with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), signing a new contract for up to four years to provide Application Testing Services.
Atos, together with a number of partners, will support the critical testing services that underpin HMRC’s core capabilities.
The programme will use class-leading AI and automation to deliver a flexible, responsive and quality testing service, further building HMRC’s internal capability for the future.
Nikki Kelly, Head of Public Sector & Defence, Northern Europe, Atos, said:“By introducing a new generation of technologies and initiatives, Atos together with partners, will fundamentally enhance the way system integration and end-to-end testing services are delivered for HMRC. We look forward to continuing to support HMRC on its digitisation journey to deliver simplified and efficient critical services.”
This programme aims to facilitate the strategic ambitions of HMRC, including to support wider government economic aims through a resilient, agile tax administration system. It builds on Atos’ existing contract with the UK Government department to provide highly skilled technical and operational support for HMRC.
Both contracts form part of HMRC’s wider technical, commercial and capability modernisation programme, which aims to improve the user experience for the citizens and businesses it serves.
