Thomas Götz is Chief Technology & Innovation Officer of Atos in Germany, Austria and Central Europe, and is also the leader of the Data & AI business line in this region. Before this, he was global head of the Atos Consulting Technology Strategy & Innovation team within the Atos Digital Transformation Consulting Practice, where he also held position of global practice CTO.
From 2018 until 2022, he was a leader of the Digital Solutions & Platform Business in Germany. Previously, he was responsible for Atos Consulting in Germany, after joining Atos as Partner and Leader of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice in 2016. Backed by more than 25 years of professional experience in technology management consulting, he works on the transformational impact of new technologies on business innovations, strategies and models and on strategic technology management, with project engagements in Germany, Europe, Middle East, China and the US.
Before joining Atos, Thomas held several executive leadership mandates within the consulting and professional service branches of IBM and Deutsche Telekom. He studied Physics and Computer Science, was deeply engaged with big science information systems, founded and operated a software development and advisory firm for the high-tech industry, and was sponsored by CERN, Stanford University, and the German Research Foundation.
