Paul Peterson currently serves as the Group chief human resources officer, overseeing Atos’s global workforce since his appointment in February 2020. With more than two decades of leadership experience in IT services and human resources, Paul has lived and worked across Europe, Asia and the Americas, bringing a truly international perspective to his role. Over his 15+ years at Atos, Paul has held a range of senior HR and operational positions, including head of HR and Talent for North America, head of HR for Global Infrastructure and Data Management, and deputy head of Group HR. He originally joined Atos as HR director for Major Events and program director and has since played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global people strategy. Before his tenure at Atos, Paul held executive roles such as chief information officer, program director and head of HR in other organizations, with a career in human resources that began in the late 1990s. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Brigham Young University and pursued doctoral studies in Social Statistics at The Ohio State University in the United States.
