Atos signs new contract with Region Hovedstaden to boost power of its SAP platform

Copenhagen, November 14, 2019

Atos, a global leader in digital transformation has signed a multi-million 4-year contract with public authority Region Hovedstaden (the Capital Region of Denmark) to support, maintain and develop its SAP platform, which will serve more than 40,000 employees in the area of healthcare in the Capital Region in Denmark. 

Atos will not only maintain and support the existing SAP platform but will also develop and secure the delivery of new functionalities, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), to leverage the full potential of its SAP platform. By implementing RPA, Atos will enable Region Hovedstaden to automate a number of its business processes – invoice processing for example – which will significantly increase productivity and efficiency.

Together with this recognized expertise, Atos brings its in-depth knowledge and insight of Region Hovedstaden’s SAP platform and customer processes to this contract, garnered from its 9+ year history of working with the public authority during which it has managed, developed, supported and maintained its SAP platform.

Region Hovedstaden is the most populated of Denmark’s five regions and the biggest healthcare region in Denmark, providing healthcare services to 1.8 million citizens. The Region Hovedstaden covers eight hospitals and several psychiatric centers.
