Atos innovative mobile app to expand digital engagement during the 2023 European Games

Paris, France – June 20, 2023

Atos, the official Digital Technology Partner for the 2023 and 2027 editions of the European Games, today announces the launch of a mobile application platform designed as a one-stop comprehensive solution tailored to fit the needs of all stakeholders, athletes, spectators and volunteers. A notable feature of the app is The European Games ID, a unique identifier that allows users to access the entire European Games’ digital ecosystem. This enables saving individual preferences and actions and thus, provides a personalized, seamless and engaging experience for all involved.

Atos has leveraged its 30-year technological expertise in sports and major events to design a mobile application that caters for the diverse needs and interests of users for a unique digital engagement. The audience will be able to simultaneously follow the events of their choice, real-time results, schedules and statistics across all disciplines for a thorough overview of the Games. Users will have access to a wealth of information, including details about sports venues, captivating pictures and news articles. A dedicated section will showcase daily highlights, ensuring fans stay up to date with the most exciting moments of the competitions. The application also features ticket purchasing options and promotions.

For athletes specifically, the app will include dedicated sections displaying photos and video highlights of their performances that can be easily shared on their social media networks. Volunteers will also have their own space with all the data and information they need to carry out their strategic mission, ensuring efficiency throughout the event. The application can already be downloaded on Play Store or Apple Store. As athletes from various European nations prepare to compete for the coveted opportunity to qualify for the forthcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Atos mobile app promises to be an invaluable companion throughout this exciting journey.

The 2023 European Games are hosted by Poland from June 21 to July 2, under the responsibility of the European Olympic Committees and the International Olympic Committee. The European Games are the first Continental Olympic Qualification Tournament for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.
