“Atos Origin – 2003, 2nd Quarter Revenues: A Solid Revenue Performance”

Atos Origin, a leading international information technology services provider, today announced that revenues for the three months ended June 30th, 2003 amounted to EUR 763 million, an increase of 3.4% compared with the second quarter of 2002. Currency movements adversely impacted trading in the second quarter of this year and revenues were nearly 5.9% higher on a constant exchange rate basis.

A detailed analysis of reported revenue for the quarter is attached to this statement.

Performance in the second quarter of 2003 was similar to the first three months of the year and in line with our expectations. The group again benefited from a first time revenue contribution of EUR 86 million from Atos KPMG Consulting (AKC). The Consulting and Systems Integration markets continued to experience some pricing pressure in the second quarter, although the volume declines of the past 18 months appear to have levelled off and improved slightly in the second quarter.

Revenue performance in Managed Operations was identical to the first quarter and there has been a steady and encouraging inflow of medium-sized orders throughout the first half of 2003, which is expected to drive modest growth in the second half of the year.

On a country basis, sales in France remained resilient in spite of the general market trend, reflecting the substantial proportion of outsourcing business. The Netherlands also benefited from its strong base of recurrent outsourcing revenue and from a steady flow of new orders coming on line. Other European markets remained difficult and negative exchange rate factors affected the UK, The Americas and Asia Pacific.

This statement is made in accordance with the regulations of the Commissions des Operations de Bourse (COB). The Company’s full results for the 6 months ended June 30th, 2003 will be announced at 07:30 hrs (CET) on Wednesday, September 10th, 2003.
