Atos enriches its Escala portfolio with new Power10-based servers for enterprise workloads in the datacenter and in the hybrid cloud

Atos today announces the extension of its Escala range with new entry and midrange servers based on IBM’s POWER10™ processor.

Designed to improve scale, performance and security while delivering best-in class and built-in reliability, the new Escala servers aim to address IT infrastructure modernization for the most demanding and critical workloads such as operational databases, advanced analytics, and business applications.

With these new Power10-based servers, clients will see with a huge improvement in per-core performance (reduce energy and cooling costs, save floor space and SW licensing costs for example) versus previous generations. Customers will also benefit from a frictionless hybrid cloud experience through enhanced operational flexibility and agility.

Atos has 30+ years of experience in integrating and optimizing IBM’s POWER processors into its Escala product range, and brings this expertise to its clients to design, develop and deploy their infrastructures.
