Chief Technology Officer, Public Sector and Defense, Atos North America

Tony Encinias is the CTO for Public Sector and Defense for Atos North America. Prior to joining Atos, Tony was the Chief Strategist and Innovation Officer for State and Local Government for Dell Technologies, and VP of Technology for ViON Corporation. Prior to his transition to the private sector, Tony was the CTO and CIO for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also a retired United States Naval Officer, with a distinguished military career in which he held leadership roles in the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, the Department of the Navy and the Defense Information Systems Agency.

He holds a Master’s in IT Management from the United States Naval Postgraduate School, a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and a Federal CIO Certification through Carnegie Mellon University.
