Changing Face of Technology event concludes for 2022

Last Wednesday, Atos’s and VMware’s months of hard work gave rise to the fifth Changing Face of Technology careers and mentorship event. Organized by the companies’ gender and multicultural networks, this event was aimed at students from all disciplines and Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (#BAME) backgrounds. The event was a fantastic success! With more than 50 online and in-person attendees, the atmosphere was great, and everybody left with practical knowledge and valuable insights into the tech industry.

A huge thank you goes to everyone from the Atos and VMware teams for executing this special event, the organizer and driving force Priya Kanda, the excellent host Samuel Awonuga, the inspirational speakers Dawn Osbourne and Neeta Darragh, Yemi Jackson and Jerry Clark for the insightful workshops on effective networking and building a personal brand; to all our amazing panelists, Mamunah Khan, Shweta Julka, Ibrahim Kamardeen, Atefeh Eslahi, Samir Monsour, and Tuffa Tahsin for sharing their experiences in tech and last but not least to Shelly O’Gilvie and Sophie Raynold from Bright Network.

A big shoutout to the organizing team! It would not have been possible without all of you: Anna Norgett, Bibi Kwakye, Réka Góbis, Elora Parocki, Tuffa Tahsin, Suraiya Aziz, Jingwen Croft Jiao, Abi Page, Aicha Gray, Bola Rabiu, Harleen Madier, Iris Scalassara, Ibrahim Kamardeen, Gary Hamilton, Kat Spring, Roger Taylor, Shiv Pattni, and Zahra Katsina.
