Berkshire Grey robotic parcel sortation system

Berkshire Grey’s Robotic Parcel Sortation system is in use at parcel carrier hubs sorting 1,000s of eCommerce packages per hour. Random parcels are loaded into the collection hopper and from there they move to the robotic singulation cell which picks individual packages, places them in the patented HyperScanner vertical scanning tunnel. Each identified package is then moved to a collection point where parcels are bagged along with other parcels bound for the same destination. The entire self-contained system fits in approximately 112 sqr meters and multiple systems are often deployed together.
