The Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 will surely be remembered: the first postponed Olympic Games edition in history and no spectators to cheer and physically witness world records. No doubt, Tokyo 2020 has been the most digital and connected Olympic and Paralympic Games ever. For the first time in Summer Games, Atos delivered and fully managed all critical IT services remotely through the cloud for Tokyo 2020, supporting the IOC in delivering the most sustainable solutions ever.

In July 2020, Atos and the IOC announced an extension to their long-standing Worldwide Olympic partnership through 2024. Atos, as the lead integrator for technology is looking to support the further digital transformation of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and to keep fulfilling its role in digitally securing the IT infrastructure for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Beijing 2022 and Paris 2024.
