Wim Adriaens

Wim Adriaens is sinds juli 2019 afgevaardigd bestuurder van de Vlaamse Dienst voor Arbeidsbemiddeling en Beroepsopleiding (VDAB), de counterpart van het UWV in Nederland. Adriaens geeft leiding aan een organisatie (5.000 fte) die steeds meer gebruik maakt van de inzet van AI en data. Met als motto ‘VIBE’ (VDAB in beweging) wordt de kanteling gemaakt naar een regierol op de Vlaamse arbeidsmarkt. Eerder was Adriaens kabinetschef op het kabinet van Philippe Muyters, voormalig minister van Werk, Economie, Innovatie en Sport.
