Cloud and net zero – How businesses are taking decarbonization to the next level

New European report reveals state of play in business’ decarbonization effort to reach net zero by 2050

Download the report

How are companies and business leaders managing their decarbonization efforts to reach net zero in Europe by 2050?

A new report from Coleman Parkes Research, prepared by Atos and AWS (Amazon Web Services), seeks to find out more about the motivations of decision-makers facing the challenge of achieving net zero. What are their priorities, objectives and actions? What are the barriers and how do they overcome these? What role does the cloud play in all this?

The study surveyed 4,000 business leaders across three sectors, energy and utilities, financial services, and manufacturing. In four major European countries, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The good news is that businesses have sustainability and carbon reduction firmly on their agenda. Our survey results show that reducing emissions is among their top five priorities, now and for the next three years. However, it’s important to understand the obstacles that stand in their way – and how we can work together to overcome them.
