What is meant by “cloud agnostic”?
Atos CloudPlatform’s cloud-agnostic nature enables you to work with multiple cloud providers and focus on choosing the most suitible target platform. Our API will flexibly integrate with these target platforms, regardless of whether it is a new (Greenfield) or an existing (Brownfield) deployment. How it works
Atos CloudPlatform is hosted in the highly available central Atos twin datacenter in Germany and makes use of a Three Layer Architecture, consisting of a backend, frontend and a connecting middle API layer.
All layers have the same single point of truth – our Master Data Repository (MDR). Our customers have different means of interacting with this data (i.e. monitoring, inventory): Directly through the intuitive web portal that we provide, through according mobile apps or through the REST API. Additionally, the native cloud providers’ portals can still be used.
Our API connects to all your platforms to make sure that all your actions are executed in the correct target environment and, if required, can even connect to your ITSM to maintain or ingest your CMDB meta data.
