SAP Business Technology Platform in focus at the second Eviden SAP Integration Strategy Day

This time the focus was on the SAP Business Technology Platform in general and the SAP BTP Integration Suite in particular. In addition to a general introduction and an outlook on the digital transformation, further concepts of the SAP BTP Integration Suite were presented.

The Atos SmartFlatIdocAdapter4BTP

The IDOC exchange between ERP and third party system is done in flat file format. The format is prepared in the middleware (SAP PI/PO or SAP BC).

The current IDOC adapter in the CPI does not support the flat IDOC format as the PI/PO adapter does.

When interfaces are migrated from SAP PI/PO and SAP BC to CPI, this format will still be needed to exchange these IDOCs with an ERP system

This is how easy the transition is with Atos
