Global Accessibility Awareness Day is an awareness day focusing on digital access and inclusion for the more than 1.3 billion people with disabilities and impairments around the globe while also showcasing the “curb-cut’ effect that benefits everyone in society.

The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking, and learning about digital access and inclusion. Our aim in Atos this year is to discuss how we can create a more inclusive society.

Join us and discuss with us on social media to explore how embracing mainstream technology in inclusive ways can open doors to greater accessibility, empowerment, and participation for individuals with disabilities.

Implementing Mainstream Tech in Inclusive Ways

Mainstream technologies provide unexpected opportunities for accessibility and digital inclusion if used and implemented in innovative, inclusive ways. Leveraging mainstream tools and platforms in innovative ways to enhance accessibility and provide equal opportunities for participation for everyone is a topic no one working in the ICT field should miss.
