Changing Face of Technology
About Changing Face of Technology
The Changing Face of Technology is an established careers event and has supported students for the past 4 years in gaining the confidence to apply and secure roles in the technology industry. We have worked with students and universities to fine tune our agenda to ensure it can make the most impact as possible.
Hosted by Atos’ & VMware’s gender and multicultural networks, this event is aimed at all students in the UK, from all disciplines, from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds. This mentoring and careers workshop is designed to support you in kickstarting a professional career in the technology industry.
We don’t work alone as the event brings together a blend of professionals across Atos, VMware, BrightNetwork and various recruitment firms as we cover applying for graduate roles, building your personal brand, effective networking, opportunities available to you across the tech sector and the chance to put your networking skills into practice. Following the event, you can take part in a bespoke mentoring program. Through this program, you will gain a senior mentor in Atos or VMware who can support you as you embark upon this next step, providing support with interviews, assessment centers, applications, useful workplace skills and much more.
Why join in person?
This years Changing Face of Technology is an in-person event. To realise the full benefits and to maximise your networking opportunities with technology professionals and respective recruitment firms, we encourage you to join us in person. However, we recognise this may not be possible. For those exceptions, please email.

Participate in our bespoke mentorship programme:
Upon attending the event, you will receive exclusive access to our mentoring programme, and be paired with a senior technology professional in Atos or VMware. The idea behind the mentorship is that the support extends beyond just The Changing Face of Technology event, and you have the opportunity to discuss and tackle any personal skill or knowledge gaps you may have, or perhaps you just want to learn more about what it’s like to work in the technology industry.

Testimony from an ex-attendee

Tuffa Tahsin- Business Consultant
I came across the Changing face of Technology event through a friend who was a Project Manager at Atos who mentioned that it would be a great networking event. At the time, I had graduated from University and was unsure about the perfect role for myself. After attending the event, I gained confidence that I wanted to pursue a career within The Digital World, and that Atos would facilitate the tools needed to excel in this journey. The event also highlighted that Atos was at the forefront of implementing diversity and inclusion especially for women in IT, which resonated with me. As a result of the event, I was able to contact a mentor from Atos on a monthly basis who helped me gain industry knowledge within IT and consulting. Overall, the event was insightful, fun and engaging and I would recommend graduates/undergraduates to attend and gain a further understanding of Atos and the Digital world!
