Texas DIR Cloud Services Contract Overview

The mission of the Texas Department of Information Resources is to serve Texas government by leading the state’s technology strategy, protecting state technology infrastructure, and offering innovative and cost- effective solutions for all levels of government.

The Cloud Services Contract will provide DIR Customers with access to cloud service models and deployment models that meet the five essential characteristics of cloud computing. Those essential characteristics are: On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity and Measured service.
