As Platinum Partner in the MindSphere lounge of Siemens

Atos will be presenting its end-to-end portfolio for MindSphere, the cloud-based, open IoT operating system from Siemens, in Hall 11 at the SPS IPC Drives fair in Nuremberg, Germany. As MindSphere partner from the very beginning, Atos has an extensive portfolio of products that includes consulting and development of use cases, integration, hosting and app development.

New consulting concept “Rapid Incubation Service”

How can companies benefit from MindSphere? Atos consultants at SPS IPC Drives will show how – within a 1-day workshop – customers can implement the individual possibilities and benefits of digitisation based on Siemens MindSphere. Developing a prototype for the selected application takes four weeks. The assumed effects on production and business processes can be validated and the requirements for user operability, networking and integration can be determined using modern start-up methods.

New applications for MindSphere

Just in time to the trade fair, Atos will present four new applications for MindSphere to improve workflows in many areas of the production process. Hence, Atos provides 15 apps for MindSphere altogether:

The Augmented Maintenance Worker enables maintenance workers to visualise hidden components and to get work instructions as well as additional product information via an electronic devices such as a tablet PC.

All the necessary information about the bills of material (eBOM) in product design can be aggregated with Mobile Compare eBOM. To do this, the application uses internal and external data sources and compares and visualises the results.

The JT in Webbrowser application allows various functionalities of the JT (Jupiter Tesselation) graphic format to be shown in the Web browser. In the past, special software was needed for the format, which is used in PLM processes. Thanks to the new app, JT graphic can be displayed on various devices.

Container Management is an application for RFID technology. It provides a quick, mobile overview of the number, location and content of containers to optimise throughput times and reduce downtime.
