HPC User Forum

Regional HPC strategies, including the perennial jostling for sway among Europe, the U.S., and Japan, will highlight the HPC User Forum, Europe, scheduled for March 6-7 in France. Besides global competition, AI, industrial HPC use, and a dinner talk on quantum computing are all on the docket.

This meeting, held at CEA’s Très Grand Centre de Calcul (TGCC) on the Teratec campus in Bruyères-le-Châtel, France (close to Paris), will be the first HPC User Forum run by Hyperion (the former HPC team at IDC) since becoming an independent company in December.

Participation in HPC User Forum meetings is open to anyone with an interest in high performance computing or high performance data analysis (big data using HPC), including users, vendors, funders, and others. This edition is the 70th HPC User Forum meeting – the first was held in 1999.

Atos is the main sponsor of this edition of the HPC User Forum. Agnès Boudot, VP HPC and Quantum at Atos, will give an update on Atos’s commitment to HPC, and Eric Eppe, Director of Solution Marketing & Portfolio for HPC at Atos, will present a technical update on Atos’s HPC offering.
