We will be present at the Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference in Graz.
Atos is pleased to be a golden sponsor for the event.
September 7th, 16;30 – 18:30, Room Styria – Erwin Greilinger, Product Line Manager for the Atos satellite monitoring and geolocation solutions, will deliver a keynote speach about “How monitoring of satellite communication can be managed in the era of LEO mega-constellations and HTS“.
The satellite industry is undergoing tremendous innovation and change in space. New multi-constellations and highly configurable satellites are offering the industry unprecedented increases in bandwidth and flexibility. But on the other hand, they are also introducing far more complexity and widening the gap between space and the ground.
Traditional ground systems were designed for bent-pipe, fixed satellite models, sending signals up and down to relatively static payloads However, new technologies introduce highly configurable, reprogrammable payloads that can shape beams, changing power, capacity, and frequency on the fly. In the future when thousands of payloads connect millions of services, conventional ground systems will be unable to scale technologically or economically. For the ground station to support this innovation in the sky, it will need to evolve from purpose-built systems intended for more static environments to SW-defined virtual systems supported by automated AI processes.
Atos is a global digital leader with a strong space presence. The Atos SkyMon product suite helps you identify interference and manage carriers in one comprehensive system with minimal investment. It helps you react rapidly, safeguarding high-quality satellite communications and protecting your reputation.
Looking forward to seeing you in Graz!
