Feeling the pulse of technology at the Atos Expert Convention

“The physical world around us is progressively becoming more digital. Rapid technology advances are changing how we consume and interact with digital. Businesses are seeing significant opportunities – and facing significant challenges.

“We believe that a responsible and human-centric approach to anticipating the impact of technology innovations is key to business success. To meet this challenge, we, at Atos, are preparing ourselves, leveraging on our people and technological strengths, driven by the brightest minds and technical experts.”

I was so proud to deliver the welcome speech at the Atos Expert Convention in Madrid two weeks ago. As I looked out over the room of our experts and our partners’ experts, I felt the energy. ‘Innovation’, ‘Co-creation’, ‘Collaboration’ may all be great buzzwords, but here we all were, making it happen.

Around 400 Atos experts gathered together with experts from our partners with one sole aim in mind: boosting innovation. And not boosting innovation just for the sake of boosting innovation but boosting innovation to help our clients take advantage of new opportunities and solve new challenges.

Our experts spent the day learning from each other by sharing their knowledge and experience with our partners joining in, holding eye-opening conversations while feeling the pulse of technology around the room.  Inspirational people from a variety of fields and industries demonstrated transformative technologies. Amazing start-ups shared their exciting work. Challenging co-creation sessions built upon industries and client’s expectations.

I want to shout out a big thank you to all who attended and made the convention a great success. While just the second convention of our Expert Community, which itself is little more than two years old, it truly lived up to its motto: ‘Driving Effective Change’.

I want to pay tribute to our strategic partners and start-ups for their relentless support. I’m excited to see us continuing to work together to reinvent the future of our customers’ businesses.

Atos is committed to continuing to make significant investments into research and development – not only to drive technological change but to help our clients master new challenges sustainably and ethically. Our Expert Community is essential for bringing those innovations to life. It is how we will develop the best talent. It is how we will ensure our experts can grow, shine and influence.
