At Atos, we are committed to LGBTI inclusion, creating an environment where people can bring their authentic selves to the workplace. So, while we have extensive plans to celebrate Pride Week 2019, our efforts do not stop there. In 2018, we signed the UN Standards Of Conduct For Business, aligning ourselves with the focus on inclusivity for all, and in 2019, we signed L’Autre Cercle’s charter, pledging our support of our LGBTI employees, and to working with them to ensure that their voices are heard when setting/revising policies and hiring and promoting our employees worldwide, as shown in this video.

As our AtosPride employee network continues to grow, programs such as the UK&I’s reverse mentoring relationships between senior leaders and LGBTI employees and webinars under our “The Plus Of Us” D&I umbrella allow us to educate our 110,000 employees in 73 countries and provide resources and information on everything from traveling abroad with your same-sex partner to inclusive parenting tips.

Our co-leaders of the AtosPride network have distinct goals in mind as they take the helm of our largest global employee network: Tamsin McCarthy is certain that we can reach the milestone of 2000 members. She is also working hard with the rest of the AtosPride Steering committee to move up the rankings of the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index and break into the top 100. Sam Ellis echoes the importance of creating an environment where everyone can be themselves, allowing them to excel within their roles, as explained in this video featuring Julia Atwater of the UK. Collectively, they intend to take AtosPride to the next level, and our senior leaders stand poised to assist them in these efforts.

Denise Reed Lamoreaux is the Global Chief Diversity Officer at Atos, and brings 30+ years of Leadership, Marketing and Communication, and Learning and Development experience to her role. Denise has aligned with Recruiting, Corporate Social Responsibility, the Compliance Network and Learning and Development to ensure that the Diversity Dimensions (Gender, Generations, Culture, LGBT+, and Accessibility) are interwoven into business processes, and that learning opportunities focus on D&I topics. Denise brings her passion for Diversity and Inclusion to the programs she develops and delivers, and to the We Are Atos Employee Experience Program. Two recent achievements are the launch of Skillsoft’s Women In Action program, and the implementation of Textio, which will aid us in creating unbiased job descriptions. During her tenure, Atos has been recognized externally in several categories, joined organizations such as the ILO, and signed the UN Standards of Conduct for Business, parity.org’s Parity Pledge, and L’ Autre Cercle’s charter.

About Tamsin McCarthy

Tamsin McCarthy has been working for Atos since 2007 in various roles including procurement, supply chain management, and change management. She first joined the AtosPride network back in 2016 and was soon asked to take on the role of Procurement subject matter expert before joining the AtosPride Steering committee as an Ally representative. In January 2019, she took over as co-chair of the network along with Sam Ellis. Tamsin is a passionate Diversity and Inclusion advocate and has presented at each of the Atos Diversity & Inclusion Expo events. She is keen to show the importance of allies and the difference they can make in the work environment and wider society.

About Sam Ellis

HR Business Partner for Employee Engagement
Sam joined Atos back in 2007 in various operational leadership roles in IDM, before becoming Head of Customer Experience.  He later became Head of International Mobility and Employee Engagement where he developed the Atos Diversity & Inclusion networks post-inception, pioneered the annual Diversity & Inclusion Expo and since April 2019 took over as Co-Chair of the Atos Pride Network, alongside Tamsin McCarthy.  He is now an HR Business Partner.
