Atos and Netatmo provide a new solution for smart energy consumption

Paris, Barcelona, 16 November 2016

Atos, an international leader in digital services, is working with Netatmo, Netatmo, a revolutionary smart home company, developing groundbreaking, intuitive and beautifully-designed connected consumer electronics, to offer an easy to use tool to monitor and help reduce customer’s energy consumption. For instance, users of the Netatmo Smart Thermostat save 37% of energy to heat their home[1].

This new energy services came out thanks to the strong expertise of Atos data analytics expertise and Netatmo smart connected objects. The Netatmo Smart Thermostat will be compatible with the Atos Codex Analytics – a suite of business-driven analytics, cognitive solutions and services developed by a worldwide network of data scientists and analytics experts.

 

Maximum convenience whilst reducing energy consumption

The Atos Codex analytics platform allows users to cross check energy consumption data family member presence at home. It also schedules the Netatmo Thermostat to calculate optimization of gas boiler use and heating system automatically. The Atos Codex analytics platform supervises and alerts maintenance requirements of the boiler – features that match an energy supplier’s strategy.
