Atos recognized for its commitment to women’s advancement in the workplace by Parity.org

Paris, July 20, 2020

Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, has been named to The Best Companies for Women to Advance List 2020, an initiative of Parity.org, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on bringing gender equality to the highest levels of business. This list recognizes organizations that have implemented a mix of exemplary benefits, policies, and programs that ensure women have significant opportunities to advance their careers. Companies that made the 2020 list share several common best practices that are significant in helping women balance work and home life. They were rated in areas of recruitment, benefits, executive preparation, measurement, and representation.

Atos firmly believes in the value of diversity as a driver for performance and has set ambitious objectives to continuously improve gender balance across its organization. Atos rolled out a range of initiatives across all its territories to support women at all levels, with a specific focus on helping talented women build rewarding careers. These initiatives include the Women Who Succeed program, gender balanced talent management programs and executive mentorship to prepare women to succeed in senior management positions.

Atos aims for gender parity in its recruitment applications in the upcoming years, has more than doubled the number of women Group Executives in 2020, and will decrease the gender compensation gap each year.

“I’m proud that Parity.org has recognized Atos at this time. We have clear focus and energy to achieve gender balance across Atos, with programs designed to attract, develop, and retain talented women. We have a marked increase in the percentage of women in senior level roles. Parity.org’s pledge has helped us to keep our eyes on the prize to achieve this goal”, explained Paul Peterson, Global Head of Human Resources, Atos.

“We are thrilled to announce the Best Companies for Women to Advance List 2020,” said Cathrin Stickney, Parity.org founder and CEO. “These companies are examples of commitment and intentionality in leveling the playing field for women and paving the way for them to succeed and advance their careers, making gender parity at the top levels possible. The efforts they have undertaken are not just worth recognizing, they are worth emulating. We hope that more companies will follow their lead and take similar actions to pave the way for the women in their organization to advance.”
