“Atos named once again as a “Leader” in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Center Outsourcing and Infrastructure Utility Services in Europe 2015”

Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

Atos, an international leader in digital services, today announces that it has been positioned for the fourth consecutive year by Gartner as a Leader for Data Centre Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services based on its ability to execute and completeness of vision.

This report evaluates the abilities of 18 service providers to deliver data center managed services across Europe — including data center outsourcing (DCO) and infrastructure utility services (IUS), which are often enabled by remote infrastructure management services and increasingly include cloud computing components.

According to the report, “Leaders perform skillfully. They have a clear vision of the market’s direction and develop competencies to maintain their leadership. They shape the market, rather than follow it.”

Eric Grall, Executive Vice President for Managed services at Atos, said: “In the new data economy where digitization is accelerating, at Atos, we are focused on supporting our customers on their digital journey to ensure that IT is an engine for business growth. I am delighted that our completeness of vision and ability to execute have been recognized by Gartner and that we are once again positioned in the leaders quadrant.”

Atos demonstrates commitment in progressing customers to what we define as the third Digital Revolution by creating innovative new services. Atos recently launched its Digital Data Center services enabling the speed of IT to finally meet business demand. The Digital Data Center leverages best of breed software-defined and Cloud technologies in helping clients to evolve their IT infrastructure to deliver infrastructure resources just when they are needed and achieve operational excellence.
