Moving to a flexible, consolidated information system to support the strategic actions of the public television group's five channels

Atos, an international IT services company, has been selected by France Télévisions, the leading French broadcasting group, to take over operation of the IT infrastructures of the group's five channels, with a performance guarantee, and to assist it for three years in its transformation into a single company with pooled resources.

France Télévisions, the national TV operator, places the viewer at the heart of its strategy. With five complementary channels, each of which has a strong identity, in addition to a regional and overseas network, France Télévisions aims to deliver a rich, ambitious and unifying range of programmes, and to support cultural and artistic creation. To ensure that it has the means to achieve these goals, France Télévisions has decided to entrust its IT infrastructure to a single service provider that will consolidate the existing systems.

Atos, positioned by Gartner Inc. as a leader in its Magic Quadrant for Data Center Outsourcing and Infrastructure Utility Services, Europe 2012, and an industry leader, has been selected to handle the supervision, administration, operation and maintenance of the TV group's infrastructure and information production applications and services.
