“Francis Meston joins Atos Origin as Executive Vice President Global Systems Integration”

Paris, March 31st, 2009

Atos Origin announced today the appointment of Francis Meston as Executive Vice President Global Systems Integration, in charge of the Group's application business worldwide and of offshore development, mainly in India.

Francis MestonOne of Francis Meston's main objectives will be to further industrialise and globalise applications developments and maintenance in order to offer Atos Origin clients higher quality and more reliable services at the best price; while enabling them to improve the performance of their own business operations. He will also run the newly created SAP Global Business, which represents a major development target for the company. Francis Meston is a member of Atos Origin Executive Committee.

This appointment is in line with the strategy of globalizing the company and follows the announcement made by Thierry Breton, Atos Origin CEO and Chairman of the Board, of a new organization on February 18th. Francis Meston reports to Charles Dehelly, Senior Executive vice-President of Atos Origin, in charge of Operations.

Francis Meston joins Atos Origin from E.D.S French subsidiary where he had been appointed CEO since January 2002. In 1996, he joined AT Kearney as Vice President in charge of EMEA business transformation and strategy practices as well as M1A Global practice. He was previously Vice President of Gemini Consulting where he led the French operations, the EMEA Telecommunication practice and the EMEA business reengineering practice.

Francis Meston is a graduate of Ecole Centrale Marseille and holds a MBA in Finance from Purdue. He is the author of two books on Management, "L'Entreprise En Mouvement" (Dunod) and "Mirages et Miracles des Technologies de l'Information" (Village Mondial). He was also associate professor at HEC from 1990 to 2004.
