“Atos Origin, one of the first companies in France to be awarded ISO/IEC 27001 Certification For Its Network & Security Services”

Atos Origin, an international IT services company, announces that its Network & Security Services (NSS) practice was awarded ISO/IEC 27001 certification following an audit by French standards organization AFNOR Certification. ISO/IEC 27001, published in 2005, is the international standard for information security management. Atos Origin is one of the first companies in France to obtain this certification. This new certification recognizes Atos Origin's investment in the continuous improvement of security management for both its own and its customers' information systems.
Atos Origin's managed operations cover administering, developing, managing and operating all or part of a customer's information systems. The Group's goal in complying with ISO/IEC 27001 is to effectively protect the availability, integrity and confidentiality of its IT systems and resources, as well as for those of its customers.
ISO/IEC 27001 defines all of the areas that must be checked to ensure that an information security management system is compliant. With this new certification, Atos Origin is confirming its commitment to continuously earning its customers' trust.

Group operations in Brazil, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and the United States have already been certified to ISO/IEC 27001.
Atos Origin combined its ISO/IEC 27001 audit with procedures to renew its ISO/IEC 9001 quality certification.
