“Macmillan Cancer Support chooses Atos Origin to help improve supporter services”

Atos Origin, an international IT services company, today announced that Macmillan Cancer Support, a leading UK charity, has awarded it a business transformation contract.

The change programme will enable Macmillan to reach and support even more people affected by cancer and improve its service levels with supporters. It forms part of Macmillan's overall response to the opportunities provided by the NHS Cancer Reform Strategy.

Under the terms of the agreement Atos Origin will deliver a programme of work encompassing process redesign, IT infrastructure improvement, systems integration and change management. The technology platform will incorporate a suite of software including Microsoft Office Sharepoint and Dynamics CRM.

A secure information repository will be created through the customer relationship management and content management systems. These tools will provide Macmillan staff and its associated professionals with consistent and high quality information about Macmillan's customers. This will significantly increase the effectiveness of Macmillan's delivery of cancer support services and will improve fundraising.
