“Gerhard Fercho is the new Managing Director of Atos Origin in Germany”

Gerhard Fercho appointed new Managing Director of Atos Origin in Germany Gerhard Fercho (52) has been appointed Managing Director of Atos Origin in Germany reporting to Dominique Illien, CEO for Germany and Central Europe. In his new position, Fercho will be responsible for all of the company's activities in Germany. As Chief Operation Officer he is also responsible for Austria, Switzerland and Poland. Furthermore, Gerhard Fercho has also been elected to serve on the Supervisory Board of Atos Worldline´s activities in Germany.

As Managing Director of Atos Origin in Germany and Chief Operation Officer for the region Germany and Central Europe, Gerhard Fercho is responsible for winning large IT projects in the sectors of Managed Operations, Consulting, Systems Integration and Solutions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. He is reporting to Dominique Illien, member of the Management Board at Atos Origin. Gerhard Fercho has also newly been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board at Atos Worldline in Germany, a subsidiary of the Atos Origin Group. Atos Worldline is a leading European provider in IT-related Business Process Outsourcing, covering card payment and internet services.

Gerhard Fercho can boast over 30 years experience in the IT sector. In 2002, the graduate computer specialist began his career at Atos Origin in Germany. Since then he has worked in a variety of different operative and strategic management positions within the company. Initially, as Director for Managed Operations he was responsible for outsourcing services at Atos Origin in Germany and Central Europe. Subsequently, in September 2004 he was appointed Chief Operation Officer for the region Germany and Central Europe.

Before beginning work at Atos Origin, Fercho held various managerial positions in leading German and US companies.
