Speedy, a leading European chain of fast-fit auto centers, uses Chèque Service Plus in France, Atos Origin's most advanced solution for the prevention of check fraud and reimbursement in case of detection failure. Chèque Service Plus offers Speedy greater security thanks to its automated, remote management of points of sale and personalized handling of their specific check fraud situations.
Speedy France, an Atos Origin traditional client for 15 years, has ensured the secure processing of more than 170,000 checks representing more than €40 million in the year since Chèque Service Plus was introduced.
Chèque Service Plus is an effective management tool that enables Speedy to optimize transaction security verification and to control the total cost of ensuring the security of payments by check. It also provides Speedy with analytical tools and detailed operations reports.
Atos Origin's solution applies uniform procedures to the 350 proprietors and 80 franchised centers in France. The procedures are adapted remotely and at the request of Speedy. Each parameter can be modified whenever necessary and in real time, substantially reducing the number of site calls by technicians.
Chèque Service Plus also automates security procedures, by configuring such criteria as the amount of checks for which a guarantee request is issued automatically and the times during the day and specific days when guarantee requests are automatically reinforced.
The configurability and automation capability means that Chèque Service Plus can be used to take a customized approach to check fraud risks, thereby opening the possibility of having each outlet manage its own check risks.
