“Atos Origin’s Training Activity Earns ISO 9001:2000 Certification”

Paris - September 5, 2003

Atos Origin has earned renewal of the ISO 9001 certification for its Training Activity in France from AFAQ (Association Française pour l'Assurance Qualité).

Atos Origin's Training Activity has been ISO 9001-certified by AFAQ since 1997. This certification has been renewed and updated in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, including the transition to the international standard's new 2000 version.

The certification confirms the continual improvement that the Training Activity's quality management system delivers to customers in terms of quality, costs, achievement of objectives and commitment to service.

The new version of the ISO 9001 standard, which is more explicitly focused on customer satisfaction and continual performance improvement, recommends a process approach to the quality management system. AFAQ's audit consequently covered the management and effectiveness of all the quality management system processes, ranging from design of the training solutions offering to implementation of training courses and change support projects.
