“Total Outsourcing : Ernst & Young Awards New Contract to Atos Origin”

Ernst & Young has awarded a new five-year total outsourcing contract to Atos Origin, which has been providing outsourcing services for the audit firm's desktop assets and applications since 1995.
Atos Origin will deliver the following services:
- Operation and applications maintenance for the management information system, which comprise Ernst & Young's PeopleSoft internal management applications (accounting, finance, human resources, billing and client management), as well as applications to track consultant activities and manage their expense accounts.
- Desktop assets outsourcing, including management of leased equipment (renewed every three years), user support delivered from a shared help desk, and dedicated local support.
The services are intended for 5,600 Ernst & Young users based at 17 locations in France.
Atos Origin was selected because of:
- Its ability to deliver quality service to users for whom desktop systems are critical to the performance of their jobs.
- The experience its teams have gained through years of collaboration with Ernst & Young, providing them with thorough functional knowledge of the information system and the firm's business practices.
As a result, Ernst & Young can focus on its core activities and concentrate fully on serving its clients.
