“Diamis Helps CRI, France’s Interbank Settlement System, Successfully Migrate to SWIFTNet FIN”
Paris - September 3, 2003
Diamis, a partner to SWIFT since 2001, has completed the full migration of Centrale des Règlements Interbancaires (CRI)* to SWIFTNet FIN. The migration was announced as an investment for the future, since it is based on a powerful, reliable technical architecture and enables the introduction of new services for the financial community.
Diamis actively participated in the technical migration of France's Centrale des Règlements Interbancaires (CRI) to SWIFTNet. The migration involved replacing the X25 connection by an IP network and completely overhauling the technical platform. Thanks to this new architecture, CRI is one of the first market infrastructures to migrate to SWIFTNet FIN and will be able to offer new services such as InterAct, FileAct and Browse.
"This project represented a significant milestone in our relationship with SWIFT and confirms the validity of our SWIFT Accredited Solutions label awarded in July 2001," said Diamis CEO Jean-Pic Berry. "This successful migration for the Paris market demonstrates our ability to manage large-scale projects while complying with customer deadlines and guaranteeing the highest quality service. Also sharing in the project's success are Atos Origin Infogérance, which has operated CRI since its creation, and our partner SWIFT."
"Our new CRI/SWIFTNet architecture was deployed as scheduled on May 19, 2003," added Jacques Vanhautère, Chief Executive Officer of CRI. "The 'big bang' switchover was a major success, capping 18 months of hard work involving our teams and our partners Diamis, Atos Origin Infogérance and SWIFT. After several weeks of production, I'm satisfied with this end-to-end migration, which positions our market infrastructure among the world's first to offer transactions fully processed by the new SWIFTNet FIN network."
