“”La Vie Financière” Picks Atos Origin to Deploy SMS+ Stock Market Information Service”
Paris - February 25, 2003
La Vie Financière, a member of the Express-Expansion publishing group, has launched an SMS+ service in cooperation with Atos Origin that enables readers to track stock prices in real time directly on their mobile phones. The service has been developed by Atos Origin, which also manages its hosting and operation.
La Vie Financière, a magazine published by the Express-Expansion Group, has added SMS+ to its offering and is proposing innovative, interactive mobile services accessible to readers and via the Internet. Readers with mobile phones can dial a short number (61716) provided by Atos Origin to directly access information about Euronext securities, including current prices and trends, as well as opening, lowest and highest trading prices.
Atos Origin, which has been providing La Vie Financière with technical services for more than 10 years, manages the development, hosting and operation of the SMS+ service on its multimedia platform. It also provides the short-dial number, interconnection to the three mobile phone operators in France, and a Web-based statistical analysis interface.
La Vie Financière is promoting its new SMS+ service to Internet users and its readers at: www.laviefinanciere.com
Atos Origin has also developed and is operating La Vie Financière's Minitel and IVR services.
