Atos, a leading European IT services provider, and Genesys, the world's foremost source of call center software applications, announced today that they have formed a partnership to offer comprehensive multimedia call center solutions, combining consulting, systems integration and software products.
To fulfill the challenges of the Net Economy, companies are increasingly turning to customer self-care practices to improve the customer interface and optimize their costs. This involves opening a full range of communication channels, via the Internet, WAP phone messages, e-mail and phone-based customer contact centers.
According to Jean-Paul Vautrey, Atos Executive Vice-President, the new Atos-Genesys partnership will serve this need by "designing, building and running customized multimedia call center solutions using the best technology, so that companies can offer the quality relationship their customers deserve."
The solutions will deliver innovative features, thanks to Atos' well-known background in the value-added development of voice applications over intelligent networks and the integration of service node, CTI and CRM products, as well as its ability, together with Genesys, to operate large scale call centers.
Atos and Genesys will work together to develop business opportunities throughout Southern Europe (France, Italy, Portugal and Spain). Led by its center of expertise in Spain, Atos is already making the partnership a reality, with experts trained on core Genesys products who have successfully implemented and supported a number of on-site projects.
