“Mobistar and Atos Team Up to Develop Strategic Customer Relationship Management Services”

Mobistar, the Belgian fixed and mobile telephone company, has teamed up with Atos to introduce a loyalty program that will enhance relationships with customers by rewarding them for regular, repeat use of the company's services.
Designed for both private and business customers, the point-based program is driven by a system that allows users to sign up, then calculates the points, deducts them as they are redeemed for benefits and manages benefit delivery.
The pan-European solution is built around Atos' Poseidon CLS customer loyalty management software developed by the company's German subsidiary. It was integrated into Mobistar's back-office platform by Atos' systems integration subsidiary in Belgium, with the support of customer billing specialists from France.
Mobistar selected Atos for its experience in providing solutions to telcos and its expertise in customer relationship management. The use of Poseidon CLS product meant that the system could be brought on line very quickly, while enabling Mobistar to leverage the CRM skills of a seasoned partner and secure the guarantee of continuous product upgrades.

Mobistar, which is one of the fastest growing operators in Europe, is a subsidiary of France Telecom and is quoted on the Brussels Stock Exchange. Since 27 August 1998, Mobistar has also been present on the market of fixed telephony, with the "carrier selection code" system which enables clients to direct their calls to Mobistar by dialling "1595" before the number they wish to call.
