Atos commissioned independent research to understand how consumers feel about the digital services offered to them currently and what they would like to see from them in the future.
37% of respondents said the digital services from their utilities providers were either ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’; which was only marginally short of the average across all sectors surveyed. However, when asked about which sectors were leading the way when it came to providing digital services, the utilities sector came out somewhere in the middle, lagging behind both online and traditional retail as well as the financial services sector.
