What you’ll be doing
Everybody’s talking about data and its value. As an intern, in this area, you will enjoy working with the next generation of cognitive computing, data management, analytics and enterprise content management environments, using existing and emerging technologies. You’ll work with experienced and talented consultants to unlock the value of business data — both in-house and for household name clients. You’ll develop your combined business and technical skills to help our clients improve insight, optimise process, and discover new business potential.
Enjoying exposure to the information management project lifecycle, you could focus on cognitive computing initiatives involving intelligent processes, knowledge automation, knowledge networks and data analytics. You’ll be helping our clients maximise the operational and business advantage gained from their digital assets.
You’ll get great training opportunities through our internal training academy, which will help you develop a range of personal and data analytics skills. You’ll have a year of direct exposure to some exciting and challenging projects putting your university knowledge to use working on live projects, having a material impact on our business and our clients.
The role will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and you will learn how to turn all forms of data into clear and simple insights for our clients, so a methodical, analytical approach is needed along with a flair for business.
“Straight away, I was helping redesign a client’s intranet site, and before long I was lead developer for the beta launch of a web portal site for a major public sector client.”
Stephen, University of Warwick, Cognitive Computing Intern
