What is the role?

As a GSS Graduate you will work on Atos’ most strategic client engagements across all client industries and business units.

The GSS team comprises over 100 skilled sales and presales professionals. GSS is a critical client-facing function. Skills within the team focus primarily on the core professions of sales, bid management and engagement management. These core teams draw upon further expertise across the business to develop propositions that deliver value for our clients.

Working within the GSS organisation, Graduates will join dynamic, dedicated pursuit teams in a fast-moving environment, gaining valuable experience, and driving new business for existing and prospective clients. The role offers the opportunity to complete two or three rotations across five key roles of our GSS team including: Bid Manager, Engagement Director, Deal Maker, Bid Writer and Bid Support.

GSS Graduates will work on the most critical sales opportunities for the Group with a high degree of complexity and with a range of values from EUR 50m to EUR 1bn.

You will quickly gain the skills to help our clients derive real value through people, process and technology development. You will work with our best people across the five key roles, learning and developing from their experience and knowledge:

Bid Management – Our Bid Managers and Directors are responsible for the entire bidding process in terms of quality, deadlines, budget and ensure commercially successful bids that meet customer expectations

Bid Writing – Our Bid Writers are responsible for the end to end proposal development in terms of written quality, ensuring our proposal meets the client’s requirements and emphasizes our win themes and simulating scoring to ensure competitive advantage

Engagement Directing – Our Engagement Directors play a key role in strategic sales and are significant contributors towards the organisation’s growth ambitions. The Engagement Director role only exists within the GSS organisation and has been key to driving improvements in win rates of key deals

Deal Making – Our Deal Makers lead and manage dedicated pursuit teams within GSS, driving opportunities on behalf of our client industry teams. Deal Makers typically drive operational sales activity for a single major sales campaign at any given time

Bid Support – This role will play a key role in defining, implementing and improving our unique sales processes to improve win rates of key deals.

What are we looking for?

A Business degree or experience in a related field with exposure to sales and technology can be useful, but we’ll provide specialist training and support to help you succeed as you develop your transferrable skills.
