About this scheme
If you’re interested in supporting the future of a global business, there’s no better place to start than our level 4 Project Management apprenticeship. The 18-24 month programme puts an emphasis on learning in the workplace on live projects, supported by theoretical classroom learning. You’ll cover a diverse range of subjects integral to understanding successful project management, with the support of some of the most engaging colleagues in the business.
You’ll gain exposure to and support the management of key projects, from start to finish, use industry recognised software tools and build relationships with colleagues and clients. So by the time you’ve completed, you’ll have industry-recognised qualifications, along with all the skills and experience for a successful career in project management.
What you’ll cover
All our apprentices learn the basics of project management, stakeholder engagement and project communications as early as possible, so you’ll be straight in the field and making an impact on real projects. From there you’ll learn plenty of specialist skills tailored to your talents and competencies. These could include managing project scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, resources and contracts, or leading your own areas of responsibility.
Qualifications you will achieve as part of your Project Management apprenticeship
As well as an EAL level 4 diploma in Project Management, you could have the choice to work towards complementary courses, such as:
- Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship
- PMQ, APM (IPMA Level D)
- Agile Foundation

For this scheme you’ll need 5 GCSEs / Scottish National 5’s or equivalent at grades 4-9 / A-C (including Maths and English), plus 2 A-levels / Scottish Highers or equivalent.
