About this scheme

Our Business Administration Apprenticeship is your opportunity to gain the confidence and experience you need to get a real head start. Whether you’re interested in operations or customer service, this 18-24 month programme will develop you into a capable business leader, with real skills and responsibilities to drive the rest of your career.

Throughout the course you’ll learn and use skills that will support you in a wide range of business and admin tasks. As you progress you’ll take on more responsibility, and by the time you’ve completed your apprenticeship you’ll be a trusted professional, ready to contribute to live projects and progress your career. If you like being well organised, analysing information and you have great communications skills, this programme is for you.

What you’ll cover

You’ll develop some of the most essential business skills around. You’ll develop an understanding of how businesses are structured, the principles and role of business ethics, how to manage resources and people to deliver business benefits, as well as understanding how to plan and deliver organisational change. You’ll learn the tools and techniques of business and risk analysis and how to apply the correct analytical techniques to get the best results. Just as importantly, you’ll develop your soft skills, including how to plan, and lead effective meetings, negotiation in a business environment, and developing effective business relationships.

We’ll give you everything you need to operate as a fully-fledged professional.

Risk Analyst Apprentice

As a member of our Audit team, you’ll gain exposure across the business at all levels while covering internal and external audits. It’s no exaggeration to say you’ll make a clear impact on the way we work from an early stage, by identifying and presenting potential risks and opportunities to enhance our services. Using your management, analysis and influencing skills, you’ll soon become a key addition to our auditing capabilities.

Client Security Apprentice

As an apprentice within our Security, Risk and Compliance team you’ll support a broad range of security and governance related controls for our customers, constantly maintaining a secure and audit-ready environment. To make that happen, you’ll work alongside our Client Security Managers, contributing to and gaining experience in a range of information security, governance, risk and compliance activities. You’ll learn to build relationships with key stakeholders, making this an ideal environment to learn both technical and communication skills.
