Technical Support Apprentice
As part of this busy technical support team, you’ll have a hands-on role analysing and resolving technical issues on systems critical to the successful running of the UK Rail Network. We’ll give you responsibility for investigating problems and the support of experienced colleagues in finding and implementing solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to design, develop and test software enhancements, extending both your technical and customer service skills. You’ll demonstrate your passion for technology and learn how to deliver real value to our customers.
Software Development Apprentice
As a Software Development Apprentice, you’ll provide critical technical support for solutions and services as part of our UK Operational Rail Market team. Working directly with our customers within the rail industry, you’ll assess and resolve technical systems issues, working with colleagues to identify root-causes behind problems, before developing, testing and implementing permanent solutions. It’s a growing area of the business, where you’ll develop experience across the software development and support sector. Apprentice DevOps Engineer
As part of a purpose-built application development team, you’ll contribute to the development of leading edge solutions, delivered through Agile and DevOps methodologies. That will mean learning and using the latest programming languages and database technologies, all under the tutelage of some of our most senior technical professionals. You’ll build your experience through a variety of teams and could be developing working prototypes to support bid projects, building new products for clients or supporting planned change and ongoing maintenance for longer term projects.
